Zorritos, named after the little foxes that can be spotted in the hills, is a small fishing town in the far north of Peru; famous for its beaches, surfing and seafood. The subtropical climate means eternal summer and due to the “El Niño” current the ocean water is warm all year round. It is located hour from the border with Ecuador and forty-five minutes north of Mancora, a popular tourist destination. Zorritos, however, remains relatively untouched by tourism which adds to its charm and means crowd-free beaches and a super relaxed, small-town feel. Approximately 10,000 people live in Zorritos and its surrounding districts; due to its size and location it offers trainees a unique rural experience, a great way to immerse themselves in the rich culture that is Peru.
Our TEFL Certificate course is held at Pinamar, a beautiful hotel in Zorritos, where our trainees also stay. Our beach-front outdoor training centre is located within metres of the ocean which provides a lovely breeze and view. Hotel Pinamar is within walking distance, or a short mototaxi ride, from of the centre of Zorritos where there are lots of restaurants and shops.
Our trainees stay at Hotel Pinamar in Zorritos for the month. Our course packages include a private room with a bathroom, hot water, a fan, Wi-Fi and breakfast daily (eggs, bread, butter, jam and fresh juice).
